I was given this product at a discounted price for my unbiased review.I really like this mirror for when i go biking because before i would have to look back and not know where i'm going forwards. But with this i just glace at the mirror and know exactly whats behind me and I don't need to loose my focus on the road. The mirror and the whole item is really light because one part is like a aluminum rod ( I think) and the other part is the mirror, the frame is made of carbon fiber and glass. The mirror can be rotated to any angle you want so you can see what ever is behind you or to the side ( or what ever angle you set it to).It is very easy to install and take off because if is fastened with Velcro, the Velcro holds the mirror pretty sturdy.I would recommend this to anyone that rides bikes on roads or on anything else that you need to see behind yourself.

I like to ride a lot, and I also pull my grandkids in a wheeled carrier behind me. I hate not being able to see them while I ride. This certainly provides me the opportunity to look and see them. It is lightweight and easy to install and use. I like the fact that I can turn my head to see what I want to see behind me. It is a great safety device, and I am all about safety. The only issue I had is sometimes it was aq little shaky if I did not get it velcroed in just right. I highly recommend when you are done riding to take it off the helmet and put in a safe place where things won't get put on it. It is lightweight, but it is for a reason you don't want some heavy monstrosity on your helmet. I ordered this for my new bike helmet and still waiting for my new bike to arrive. I hate having to turn around to see if any traffic is coming up behind me and apparently it's illegal to drive on the oppisit side of the street to see the traffic coming at you so I figured this would be a good thing to try and see if this helps that burden. You pretty much just place the Velcro strips where you need them on the helmet and then you can take the mirror off when you don't need it and add again later. The whole thing is really light so it sticks well with just the Velcro. One you put your helmet on you can adjust the mirror int he correct position you would need it so that you can see behind you correctly while riding. Pretty basic and simple to use.
